INTENSIVE 5 DAY TRAINING FOR CHEF
Conscious Chef Retreat Training - Sri Lanka
MIDIGAMA FRUIT FARM 16-20TH MARCH
A professional immersion for chefs who want to go beyond technique and learn to cook (and direct) retreat-level culinary experiences with intuition, seasonality, creativity, and deep respect for ingredients.
This is not a holiday destination.
It is a high-impact training programme designed to improve your technique, your creative process, and your ability to serve transformative dining experiences.
Hosted by Cristina Alimentart, plant-based chef and creator of educational experiences in Conscious Eating.
Who Is This Training For?
This training is for chefs or culinary professionals with kitchen experience (or at least basic cooking skills) who want to:
• Build the skillset to cook for retreats (wellness, yoga, creative, corporate offsites) with confidence and structure
• Develop a more intuitive and creative cooking style (without relying on rigid recipes)
• Work deeply with local, seasonal ingredients and design menus aligned with natural cycles
• Deliver food that feels alive, nourishing, and emotionally intelligent—while staying
operationally realistic in a retreat kitchen
Whether you are already cooking in retreats or want to specialize in this niche, you’ll leave with a clear methodology you can apply immediately.
The Training Experience
During five days of immersion at Midigama Fruit Farm, ingredients become living teachers. You will work from the source: observing, tasting, selecting, and transforming what is available, then translating it into menus and dishes that promote real human experiences.
This is a hands-on activity: cooking, tasting, practicing presence, perfecting technique, and learning to maintain space through food in a realistic and professional manner.
Special experiences included (optional but recommended):
• Daily yoga classes to support mindfulness and presence
• Guided tour of Midigama Fruit Farm to connect with ingredients at the source
• Cooking class with a local chef to learn regional techniques and flavors
• Ecstatic dance session on the last night to celebrate and integrate the experience
